Rebecca Cobb Workshop
The Children’s Bookshow allocates four free workshops for schools who attend a related theatre performance.
In this engaging and interactive storytelling and activity workshop, Rebecca Cobb will read some stories to the children then follow up with a creative drawing activity. It's sure to be fun!

About Rebecca Cobb
Rebecca Cobb works as a picture book illustrator and writer. As well as illustrating her own books, she has also illustrated works by authors, including Julia Donaldson, Helen Dunmore, Richard Curtis, Nicola Davies and Katherine Woodfine. Rebecca's first collaboration with author Mariesa Dulak, There's a Tiger on the Train, was shortlisted for The Carnegie Medal in 2025 and has won numerous awards including The Week Junior Picture Book of the Year Award. She lives in Cornwall.
On the day
- Please inform your school receptionist that our artist will be arriving so they can be welcomed warmly.
- A teacher must be present throughout the workshop.
- Make sure that all the materials that our artist has requested are ready and available.
- Please let us know if any of the children have particular requirements, and ensure that their normal carer is present.
- The offer of a cup of tea is often greatly appreciated!
