Michael Rosen Performance

How did it go?

Thirteen Leicester primary schools bought over 800 children to see Michael Rosen’s performance at the Curve Theatre. Michael delighted the audience with his hilarious poems and childhood stories, and gave seriously good tips on how to get writing poetry. After the show, Michael met some of the children and signed the books they had bought from the bookstall run by Kibworth Bookshop.

Michael Rosen

Michael Rosen wrote his first poems when he was twelve, and he has been writing ever since. He loves words, and especially loves talking to children and adults about how we can play with them. He has written many poetry collections and books for children and adults alike.

One of our most popular writers - the champion for every bored, overdrilled, tested-to-tears pupil in the land
