Michael Rosen performance

We had a fantastic time welcoming Michael Rosen to the Grand Theatre in Wolverhampton with a packed theatre of 1000 excited children who hung on Michael’s every word. There were squeals of excitement as Michael recited ‘Hot Food’, with the children all joining in with “Nice!”. Michael involved the whole theatre in his performance. Teachers and support staff in the Grand Circle of the theatre commented on how, even at the back, the children were captivated by Michael and his poetry and were on the edge of their seats for the whole performance. It was wonderful to see each child so pleased and excited to receive one of Michael’s books, Out of This World, as they left the theatre, chatting enthusiastically about the performance with their friends and staff. It was a perfect start to our autumn programme!
