Each child attending a workshop will receive a FREE copy of Michael Rosen's Big Book of Bad Things to take home and keep!
How did it go?
The one and only Michael Rosen joined us at the Belgrade Theatre in Coventry
Michael has been a part of The Childrens Bookshow since our very first tour in 2003 and brings his own seamless style of storytelling and poetry in performance to every show. Guaranteed to make children laugh, Michael helps everyone understand that words and books don’t have to be intimidating - and that they can be fun! Who can resist a chuckle at Centrally Heated Knickers?
There was lots of excitement in the air, the 800 strong audience had a fantastic time and every child left with a free copy of Michael Rosen’s Big Book of Bad Things to take home and keep. Thanks for coming everyone!

Want to help more children attend events like this in the future?
Michael Rosen
Michael Rosen wrote his first poems when he was twelve, and he has been writing ever since. He loves words, and especially loves talking to children and adults about how we can play with them. He has written many poetry collections and books for children and adults alike.
One of our most popular writers - the champion for every bored, overdrilled, tested-to-tears pupil in the land
