We are extremely excited to welcome the American poet and writer Kwame Alexander to The Old Vic in London this October. Kwame uses his books to immerse children in rich, lively verse and talks about how they can transform their lives by saying “YES” to themselves and the power of poetry. In this energetic, inspirational, and fun-filled performance, children will be transfixed as Kwame Alexander performs poems and tells stories of love and life and empowerment. There will be plenty of opportunity for the audience to ask questions too! Don't miss this one-off opportunity to see Kwame's literary genius on one of London's most prestigious stages!

- Please arrive at the venue at least 20 minutes before the start of the performance, so that you have enough time to find your seats and and use the bathroom. Our start times are strictly governed by the theatres that we work with and by the start and end times of the school day. If you are unavoidably delayed, please get in touch with your Children’s Bookshow contact as soon as possible.
