How did it go?
Michael Rosen brought his laughter-filled poetry performance to Chester Storyhouse, a brand new venue for the Bookshow this year and a wonderful place which puts books at the heart of everything it does. A capacity audience of 820 children and teachers from schools across Cheshire, Wirral and Liverpool enjoyed a morning of poetry and learnt about techniques from repetition to hyperbole. After the show, Michael met hundreds of children and signed their books.
