Michael Rosen launches our 2025 programme

We're delighted to announce that our patron, Michael Rosen will be launching the autumn 2025 programme of The Children’s Bookshow and will be sharing his years of expertise on how to promote reading for pleasure in school in an engaging free live online event for teachers, librarians and education professionals.

How do you create a thriving culture of reading for pleasure in your classroom? What can you do as a teacher to help children to love reading? Join legendary poet and teacher Michael Rosen to hear top tips and practical advice on ways to create a buzz about books, poetry and reading in your school. There'll be a short Q&A too.

The event will be hosted by The Children’s Bookshow and celebrates the launch of our autumn programme. Discover what we have to offer schools across the country from dynamic, interactive theatre performances with some of the best authors and illustrators from around the world to creative workshops in schools. Find out which books we’ll be giving to every child who comes to one of our events and how to reserve your place.
