Praise for Talking to Alaska
'A super original, tense YA story about two struggling outsiders, connected by a dog - it's timeless and clever.'
Did you know…
Anna loves writing about children, because they experience everything for the first time. Compared to kids, grown ups are actually quite boring :)
Anna did a lot of research for Talking to Alaska. She visited a training school for assistance dogs, where 35 dogs stayed for six months, leaning all about being the best therapy dog.
Anna grew up in The Netherlands, but her favourite children’s books were all translated from English: The Secret Garden, Anne of Green Gables, The Railway Children, The Chronicles of Narnia.
