Yasmeen Ismail Workshop

The Children’s Bookshow allocates four free workshops for schools who attend a related theatre performance.

This workshop will be a fun, hands-on creative experience for the children participating. Yasmeen will introduce herself, and start by reading a story. Then all the children will use paper, pens, glue and glitter to make their own favourite picnic foods which will be shared with the whole class at the end of the session on a big picnic blanket!

Suitable for:
Years 1 and 2

The Bookshow with Yasmeen was absolutely brilliant! The children all wanted to be in the afternoon session and felt very inspired to draw and write. They loved getting their own book - I think this was a real highlight for them!
