Jan Blake performance

How did it go?

We are back on the road after half-term break, and we were treated to a barnstorming performance from the incredible storyteller Jan Blake at the beautiful historic theatre Bristol Old Vic. Jan held the audience of year 5 and 6 children in the palm of her hand as she delighted them with her stories and riddles. It was great to see young minds start to understand the power and impact of word-of-mouth storytelling. AND every child went home with a copy of Valerie Bloom’s poetry collection Stars with Flaming Tails.
