How did it go?
We ended our trio of consecutive events last week with an appearance from our patron and national treasure Michael Rosen! We were hosted by the stunning Lyceum Theatre in Sheffield, and 1000 children and teachers filled the red velvet seats and were thoroughly entertained by Michael’s poetry (including classics Hot Food, Hand on the Bridge, and No Breathing) and hilarious stories. More free books were pressed into children’s hands at the end. Nice!!!

Michael Rosen
Michael Rosen wrote his first poems when he was twelve, and he has been writing ever since. He loves words, and especially loves talking to children and adults about how we can play with them. He has written many poetry collections and books for children and adults alike.
One of our most popular writers - the champion for every bored, overdrilled, tested-to-tears pupil in the land
