How did it go?
Oh we did love being by the seaside at the incredibly friendly Weymouth Pavilion! Michael Rosen performed twice - entertaining and inspiring over 1900 children and teachers with his tales of growing up and his poetry. It was a deafening but joyful experience listening to the audience recite 'No Breathing' at the top of their voices!
Bridport Bookshop supplied a bookstall and after both shows Michael signed books, meeting children and teachers. We hope to be back in Weymouth in 2020!

Michael Rosen wrote his first poems when he was twelve, and he has been writing ever since. He loves words, and especially loves talking to children and adults about how we can play with them. He has written many poetry collections and books for children and adults alike.
