Aurélia Fronty Workshop

The Children’s Bookshow allocates four free workshops for schools who attend a related theatre performance.

In this fun and interactive session the children will have the opportunity to work creatively with Aurélia Fronty in their own classroom.

Suitable for:
Years 4, 5 and 6

The children got their books today - they were so excited, we put in the book plates that you gave us, the children even took the books outside during playtime today to share the poems with their friends!!

About Aurélia Fronty

Born in France in 1973 Aurélia Fronty, illustrator of The Woman Who Planted Millions of Trees, knew from an early age that she wanted to be an artist. She was brought up in an artistic environment where she was forever drawing, painting and creating. She has always been a keen traveller and has taken many trips across Africa and Asia that have inspired and influenced her art. Aurélia has illustrated over 40 books, posters and prints for children.

Previous workshops with Aurélia Fronty

On the day

  • Please inform your school receptionist that our artist will be arriving so they can be welcomed warmly.
  • A teacher must be present throughout the workshop.
  • Make sure that all the materials that our artist has requested are ready and available.
  • Please let us know if any of the children have particular requirements, and ensure that their normal carer is present.
  • The offer of a cup of tea is often greatly appreciated!
