FAQs

What is a login and how many do I need to buy?

A login is an email address registered with Crowdcast to attend an event. Each login (email address) can be used with 1 device. If you intend to watch the event on a single computer or screen, you will only need 1 login. If your school would like 5 classes to attend, and watch the event on 5 different screens, you will need to buy 5 logins.

I want to buy one login and pay by credit card. What happens once I click on the button above?

You will be redirected to our Crowdcast pages. To buy your ticket click on the green 'View tickets' button

A pop-up box for “Single login ticket £10” will appear. Click the green arrow to the right.

You will be asked to enter your email address. If you have previously registered with Crowdcast just enter your email address and password. If not you can join using a “magic link” sent to your email or other social media methods.

An Order Summary box will appear. Fill in the form and click “Confirm & Checkout”.

A receipt will be sent to the email address entered during this process.

I want my school to receive an invoice. What do I do?

Fill in the google form above and submit the details requested. An invoice will be emailed to your school for payment.

Within 2 working days, once payment has been received, you will receive a promo code. You need to give this code to the other teachers who you wish to attend the event. Each teacher wanting to attend the event will need to register individually on Crowdcast using this promo code.

We strongly recommend that all teachers register as soon as they have been given the code and at least 48 hours before the event.

I have been given a promo code. How do I watch the event?

Click the 'Buy login' button above for the event you wish to attend. You will be redirected to our Crowdcast pages.

Click on the green View tickets button.

A pop-up box for “Single login ticket £10” will appear. Below it is a Promo code link. Click on the link and enter the code you have been sent.

Now the pop-up box will show ““Single login ticket £0”.

You will not need to make any payment.

Each individual email address wanting to attend the event, will need to register directly on Crowdcast.

Can I share my Crowdcast link and password?

No. Each individual email address will need to register and enter payment directly on Crowdcast.

Can I use my Crowdcast link on several different devices?

No, but you will be able to broadcast from your class laptop to the whiteboard. Or you could get all the children into the hall and broadcast from the whiteboard there.

Is there anything I should know?

Crowdcast is very straightforward to use - there is nothing to download but you will need to create an account, and use Chrome internet browser. Crowdcast does not work on Safari or Internet Explorer.

It is vitally important that you get your ticket on Crowdcast at least 48 hours before the event is due to start. There is not enough time for us to help you with any problems you might come across if you wait to register on the day of the event.
